Susi Q(Dance teacher)
Already at the age of 3 Susi couldn’t hold still and started dancing when her father a musician was playing music.
Finally when she was 5 he had the rest of the family convinced to get her into dance classes.
For the following 10 years Susi was dancing, performing and competing in folkloric show dances for carnival celebrations in Germany. Her team won 1st place in Bavarian, 2nd in German, and 4th in European Championships.
At age 15 she discovered the world of international latin ballroom dancing where she also competed and was able to win many amateur competitions.
Thanks to a scholarship from her school Susi had the oportunity to spend 2 weeks of her summers starting age 19 to 22 in Cuba where her love of Salsa was initiated.
She soon left ballroom dancing behind to focus on her new found love for salsa and bachata. Shortly after she started teaching at one of Munichs biggest Salsa schools and started traveling all over Europe to visit and later teach and perform at Salsa Festivals (Susi taught/assisted teaching at Festivals in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Prague, Bulgaria, Poland, Italy, Great Britain, Spain, USA)
A dance partnership invitation brought her 2011 to the US where she finally made dancing and teaching her primary profession.
Susi loves sharing her passion for dancing with her students. She loves to help learners to find more fun in their dancing and is as happy to help beginners to advanced students in small as well as big dance questions.
